After watching the thursday night pressers. it’s pretty obvious that friday is THE day. These benchmark days seem to crop up with weekly regularity, and each time, I wind up disappointed and venting. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t even on the news. I know when the principal came out to help with the crossing buddies, he looked absolutely panicked. Poor guy, not something he wanted to deal with!

As far as I know there is no placenta bank, but it is being used in research. I was asked during an ante-natal appointment if I would consider allowing the placenta to be collected by the midwife and used for research purposes after I gave birth.
